How to Gain Confidence w/ Amandine Le Roux

She Gave Her Power to Everyone With an Opinion

For years, Amandine Le Roux handed her power to anyone with an opinion.

And there are a lot of opinions about what a young woman should and should not do.

She lived in a passive, waiting state. Do you think I can do this? Do you think I can do that?

Then meditation showed her the power was never out there. It was already hers.

In this episode of the Happy Healthy Hustle Podcast, sound healer Amandine Le Roux shares how she moved from crippling self-doubt to running her own business, why the criticism you fear is usually someone else’s projection, and how her voice became her greatest tool.

Her insight: a shadow dissolves the moment you bring it into the light.

If you keep waiting for permission, this conversation is your reminder that the power is already here.

[00:00:00] Dr. Christiane Schroeter: Welcome back to the Happy Healthy Hustle podcast. I am here with a special guest today. [00:00:15] Amandine Le Roux: Thank you for having me. My name is Amandine, and I am a sound healer, meditation teacher, and Reiki master, among many other modalities. I use all my tools to help people connect to themselves and to their inner peace, so they can find release, grow, and heal from there.
1:07 Why Her Voice Is Her Superpower
[00:01:07] Amandine Le Roux: My superpower is my voice. It took me a long time to realize that. Through my voice I help people take the inward journey, the cheapest and easiest journey there is. Together we cross from stress or fear to a place of empowerment, peace, and letting go, reconnecting with what it means to be human and all the potential behind it.
1:55 Giving Her Power to Every Opinion
[00:01:55] Dr. Christiane Schroeter: Did you have challenges that led you to who you are today? What was the biggest one? [00:02:10] Amandine Le Roux: The main one was a lack of self-confidence, and everything that unfolds from it. I put my power in anyone with an opinion, and there are a lot of opinions about what a young woman should and should not do. I was in a passive, victim state, making decisions based on, do you think I can do this. I could not accept that I had the power to decide where I wanted to go, and that it was in arm’s reach if I was willing to do the work. [00:03:20] Amandine Le Roux: The reason I do this work now is that so many people lack self-confidence and let the world walk over them before they realize the power is right here, not somewhere outside. Friends who knew me then say it is day and night. That younger woman would never have moved to the US by herself or launched a company.
5:38 Criticism Is Someone Else’s Projection
[00:04:14] Dr. Christiane Schroeter: We all resonate with times of low self-esteem, listening to the naysayers. Often the naysayers are just scared they cannot do it themselves. Your environment matters, so build the armor and come out stronger. [00:05:38] Amandine Le Roux: Whatever people say to you is not about you. It is the projection they are making about themselves. When I realized that through my meditation practice, it became the catalyst to face my shadows. A shadow dissolves instantly when you put it in the light. I saw I had let myself be diminished, and life is so much more vibrant when you shine your true light.
7:49 The Leap of Faith to the US
[00:07:49] Dr. Christiane Schroeter: I always say darkness is just the absence of light. If you do not know your path, you shine your light in it and keep going. So who or what helped you through that tunnel? [00:08:21] Amandine Le Roux: When I moved to the US, my intuition kept trying to tell me things, and for once I followed it. I felt the universe respond to me taking that leap of faith. I became a marketing director working to fight climate change, and helped pass three major pieces of legislation. A year before, I would have said no way. That built some confidence.
9:39 How Meditation Rewired Everything
[00:09:39] Amandine Le Roux: When my mission ended, two days later we had COVID. For me it was an awakening. I trained as a yoga and meditation teacher and a Reiki master, and came to sound healing. I was meditating about an hour a day for two years. It made me realize what we are, a piece of the universe experiencing itself. I started to forgive myself, my mother, my father, and the people who had hurt me. I rose above the noise and settled back into myself, knowing I am just as good as anybody else.
11:09 We Are All a Suitcase of Experiences
[00:11:09] Dr. Christiane Schroeter: I compare us to a suitcase that looks fancy from the outside, but when you open it, all your personal things are in there. From the outside a life can look perfect, but we are made of all our little experiences, and not all of them were positive. You need some of those to learn. I love that you found you can connect with yourself and help others through sound.
12:14 Where to Find Amandine
[00:12:14] Dr. Christiane Schroeter: How can we connect with you and work with you? [00:12:31] Amandine Le Roux: My website is amandine.com, and my business is Harmonic Odyssey, at harmonicodyssey.com. I have self-paced courses, and my signature one is a ten-day chakra healing journey, fifteen to twenty minutes a day of guided meditation and sound bath. I also offer one on ones, live sound baths, and intuitive singing classes, where anyone with vocal cords can find empowerment through their own voice. Once you have the tools, it does not have to cost a lot. [00:14:40] Dr. Christiane Schroeter: Beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing, Amandine.
