Whisk the flour and salt together in a medium size bowl
Cut butter into small chunks and place with flour. Drizzle 2 to 3 tablespoons ice water over flour. Toss mixture with a fork to moisten, adding more water a few drops at a time until the dough comes together
Gently gather dough particles together into a ball. Roll out dough, and put in a pie plate
In separate bowl, combine eggs, sugar, salt, and spices and beat well. Blend in pumpkin. Add milk and beat well. Fill filling into pie crust
Bake in oven for 10 minutes, then reduce heat and bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes
Pie is done when knife, inserted in center, comes out clean. Cool on rack for 2 hours, then serve immediately or refrigerate
