Superpower Activation w/ Kevin Russell
He Solved Problems for a Living. Then He Turned the Skill on Himself.
Kevin Russell has been solving problems since he was a kid staring down an IKEA instruction manual, sure he could figure it out.
He spent almost twenty years as a designer, untangling complexity for a living.
Then in 2019 he had what he calls a reconnection, and he started applying that same problem-solving to the hardest puzzle of all: himself.
His real superpower turned out to be self-knowledge.
In this episode of the Happy Healthy Hustle Podcast, transformation coach Kevin Russell shares how to find the superpower life muted early on, why failure is just information, and how questioning everything, starting with your own beliefs, opens up space you did not know you had.
Marry a natural talent with something you love, and you find fulfillment.
If your inner voice has been drowned out, this conversation helps you hear it again.

Key Takeaways
- Your superpower can be anything, and it is often muted early because it did not fit the family or culture.
- Fulfillment comes from marrying a natural talent with something that lights you up.
- Know how you learn. A video may unlock what a manual never could.
- There is no failure, only information. Every attempt teaches you a way that does not work.
- Self-knowledge is a superpower. Noticing how your choices make you feel is where it starts.
- Question everything, starting with your own beliefs. Get back to the why phase.
Three Petite Practice® Questions
1. What talent of mine got muted early because it did not fit in?
2. Where am I calling something failure when it is really information?
3. What belief of mine have I never actually questioned?
